While the application shows promise, there are a few things that either didn't quite meet our standards, were lacking, or incorrect. Fortunately we feel that this can be easily revised. Here are our concerns:
We think you might have misunderstood our "Emotion Sample" requirement! For this particular sample, we are asking applicants to display some understanding about the environmental effects emotions have on the world. Thus the Emotion Sample should have emotions influencing or changing something about the character's surroundings. It doesn't have to be a big thing--even a subtle effect will work! So long as we can clearly see in the writing that emotions are doing something, that will work. You can even alter your written sample to include it.
