Slowking gazed at the sky up above, watching the snow fall on and around him. It’s covering up the grassy ground and his feet, which is giving him a cold chill. Despite experiencing worse weather long ago in Shamouti, he doesn’t want to go through this particular one unprepared. He made it his mission to visit the clothing store in Vernes to buy a pair of pants to endure the snow. Fortunately, all the work he had done in the past few weeks has finally paid off, since he had accumulated enough coins to buy one. Unfortunately, the store isn’t open… at least not yet. It should anytime now. Slowking is sure of it.
With his paws behind his back and his eyes focusing on the closed sign on the door, the Royal Pokemon waits patiently for the store to open. He can’t help but feel a little anxious about wearing pants for the first time, which unknowingly caused the snow around him to change color. He always wondered if it would fit him correctly, especially since his tail plays a huge factor in his choice of pants, but he’ll worry about that once that bridge is crossed. Needless to say, that will happen every soon; he can see the store owner changing the sign from inside the store.
“The store is open. I can buy pants.” Slowking said before he went inside. He can see various types on the hangers: one green, the other black, even one with polka dots. The Pokemon settled for the color blue and asked the store owner to make a hole in the back for his tail. The owner obliged and did just that, giving the pair to him after payment was received. Slowking immediately tried them on in the fitting room and came back out with a huge smile on his face. It fits like a charm!
Now satisfied, Slowking left the store and began to hum a tune, not at all affected by the snow storm. If only he knew that the footprints he left behind are now filled with technicolored roses.
