spagheleton: (The Great Papyrus!)

So hey how has your month been, mine has been pretty busy, I hope these revisions are still on time?

The glitter was becoming a problem. Papyrus hadn't minded it at first. It was exciting, really, being so sparkly and glamorous! Not that he wasn't already devastatingly handsome, of course, but he never sparkled before.

And then he'd noticed it was coming off. His first thought had been that he was dying--slowly dissolving into so much glittery dust--but eventually his friends managed to convince him that such a thing had never happened to anyone in the entire history of monsterkind and he was probably not the first. Besides, such an ignoble end would obviously be unworthy of the Great Papyrus! He was just. Shedding glitter. Constantly. In variable amounts, depending on his exact mood, but constantly nonetheless.

And nothing made that more obvious than when he first saw where Sans had been staying. It was smaller than their house in Snowdin, but that wasn't a problem, at least not by itself. The problem was that there was less space for Sans's mess to spread out in. Sans's incredibly proliferous mess. How had his brother even managed to accumulate this much garbage in such a relatively short period of time? That would be quite the puzzle to solve, if Papyrus didn't already know the answer would horrify and disgust him.

Which was not to suggest he wasn't already horrified and disgusted! He was definitely both those things, in large quantities! Which quickly made itself clear through large quantities of blue and red glitter. Which quickly lead to the revelation that while the glitter fell off of him all too easily, it was very good at sticking to just about anything else. A truly devious substance.

But he was determined not to be defeated! He would conquer this foul dust! Preferably before his brother could think of a way to weaponize it for pranks.

...It was very unfortunate that feeling so determined only produced more glitter for him to deal with.
