Re: Revision

Maria had taken on a job dealing with a kid’s birthday party from the task board since it was simple enough. Help set up and help with the entertainment, two things the idol could handle and enjoy while bringing smiles to people’s faces. Something she hadn’t been able to do in a long time. After all the prep work was done the mascot character that was also hired was greeting guests and doing its trademark thing, but one of the older kids who knew better decided to try and take parts of the costume off, causing a stir between everyone else.

The ground started to rumble as the tears from all the other kids started flowing due to what was going on. They thought the other child hurt their beloved character and didn’t know what else to do. Kids crying and being upset weren't something Maria wanted to see. This was turning south very quickly and something needed to be done.

“Everyone, please try and calm down!”

Maria tried to put on the same act she used with her own make-shift family which normally worked given her big sister like status. Though the increase of the ground shaking and things breaking drowned out anything Maria was saying.

"The apple floated in the big broad sky
The apple crashed down on the ground

The stars were born and then the songs
And the lulu amel could smile forever
Then the stars kissed and the songs fell asleep"

Maria started singing the song that always managed to calm her down giving it everything she had in order to try and get everyone to calm down a little. The rumbling started to slowly fade, and the surroundings stopped shaking as soon as the focus shifted to her song. Her emotions of love and comforting people started to cause some of the branches and windows of nearby buildings that had been broken slightly started to repair with each line she sung. Along with new branches starting to grow and flowers starting to bloom on the ground nearby like a second wave of spring had come.

“Why don’t we play a game instead now? That would be fun for everyone.”

She smiled at the kids who were now all eyes on her and started to lead them to where all the games were being set up.
