So the explosives in question are obviously Emil's, but Lalli didn't make him get rid of them, instead saying they'd find a way to feelings magic-proof them, bring them up to the safety standards of local ones. If they took some fireworks from the Chinese New Year festivities home with them to study, and with Emil's prior work with explosives, what are the odds of them figuring out a way to do this?
If that sort of thing is possible, are there ways to neutralize other items/forms of life? Like plants.
