This is a good question! You're right, modern types of computers wouldn't really be possible in Empatheias. The all in one concept of a computer likely isn't possible either, but if you think about early computers that took up entire rooms and were kind of modular that's what we're thinking would be possible with core technology.

An example of what we're talking about would be something like this, but with more steampunk flair -- glass tubing, places for cores to be deposited etc.
