Something occurred to me as I was talking to some castmates about canon-bumping and where we all are in the timeline, etc. Let me preface by saying that I totally get it if I've just made my bed by apping in the way I did! But I was wondering how to deal with... well, "other versions" where they're both copies of the same thing, except the new one has been affected by the old one's experiences.
Er. Which is to say. When Archer dies at the end of his chapter, technically that's the end of that exact version of "Archer" and anything else of that character we see in the future is another instance summoned into Chaldea, copied off a "pure" version back at the Throne of Heroes. However, the experience of the first Archer's summoning was extreme enough that it's imprinted on the base copy in the Throne (which is how he actually trusts and cares for the MC). Would it ever be possible to canon-update into this "reincarnated" version of Archer once he shows up in further material, anticipated to be around August/September?
I hope one of the mods knows F/go but if not I can also try to explain again if that doesn't make sense. Sorry...!
