Hello, mods! Sorry for the crazy amount of questions but after reading and taking notes of the FAQ, I have a few questions concerning the way Nike will react to this world (which I wish I had thought up but canon wasn't as up to date as the first time I apped)
1. Nike's powers are about emotional and spiritual connections between her and the sky, water, and the feelings of those surrounding her (be it nature and/or living/dead people), what sense will she get about this world's sky and the island; will it be good, bad, cautious, etc? What about the world below? I understand there is lack of emotion due to the vacuum effect going on, but will her spiritual senses notice anything else about it?
2. How will her powers to purify emotions via singing affect this particular world? For the PC, I was thinking of leaving it up to player discretion and maybe putting up an opt-out and/or permissions post; as for the NPC, I'd like to know who it will affect and how much seeing as everyone with an amulet has a level of protection of sorts?
3. She uses a form of telepathy which is done through her connections with her rain partners and for the most part it is purely emotional. Will the amulet allow her to throw emotions at those she converses through telepathy at first? I kinda find the idea funny considering it'll be her first time using telepathy with words, but I wanted to run it by you guys to see if it is possible or not due to the amulet's protections???
4.a The rain song is spoken in an ancient language that is no longer used in Nike's world except for that purpose, which she has some understanding of but doesn't fluently speak it (even though she can only read literature in that particular language while using the canon's modern tongue, ironically enough), will others be able to understand the song due to the translator or will they have a hard time understanding because even Nike isn't completely fluent in that particular language?
4.b Re: languages; what language would the island and sky use, the same language the NPC use or a more older, past language?
