1) Wyverns are native to the Shaarnath area, and cannot be found in the wild of the island of Empatheias. There are a few trained wyverns that can be found in Verens, although they're not common.
He could apply for such a job in Shaarnath, but he would have to start from the ground up—doing the dirty work, cleaning up their messes—before he would be considered as a trainer.
2) There is a university, as well as a couple of research centers dedicated to various technology and/or emotional energy. Blue could snag a job in one of these places, but like the wyvern training, he'd have to prove he's reliable by doing a bit of the grunt work too. He's more likely to be listened to and promoted quickly in Verens than Shaarnath, though, depending on how well he knows his stuff.
3) There aren't many thoughts on afterlife that are commonly accepted; some believe that the emotional imprints sometimes left behind by the dead are the manifestation of their "souls", other groups believe that there is another part that is sent on to some other plane, and some believe there's no afterlife at all. Heaven and hell are largely treated as fictional concepts, although more questions have arisen thanks to the Reaper's recent appearances. In fact, a cult or two can be found in Verens that reveres and speculates on the nature of the Reaper, where it comes from, and what it does, although they have yet to agree on anything. The populations of Theasthai and Shaarnath are more inclined to believe in reincarnation, in the same way that their respective Arehtei adopt a new form after death, but there's no official religion that codifies it.
We hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
