Hi, sorry if I missed a similar question, but i skimmed and didn't see it. I'm considering trying out this character, who is a mage in his canon. The catch is that his magic works by directly calling upon his localized gods, with a canon stipulation that his magic gets weaker the further he is from Finland, where the gods reside.

How would his magic be handled in this case? Is there any workaround for this or would he be nerfed and need to start over by learning Dunamis? If it's the latter, could he be played as having a particular affinity for it, since he's known as a powerful mage in canon and/or could he apply his canon magic methodology (chanting/use of his own life force) to do Dunamis?
