Sure no problem! Let's see what all we got...

• Crushed Crystals. It's possible to crush completed crystals into a finer powder to consume. Naturally, this is not something that normal humans can eat because we are not built to consume potentially sharp, non-digestive objects such as crystals. However, 1) this might not matter for your character; 2) there is research being done to formulate the crystals to be consumable, but mostly for medicinal purposes. In any case, consuming a completed crystal would give your guy the emotions needed. It should be noted that only completely crystals will work this way. Any attempts to break an incomplete crystal to try and get the liquid drops inside would fail because the drops would evaporate immediately.
  
  
• Emotions. The emotions here work like another element, or a kind of energy themselves. If your character can consume energy like that, then just feeding off the emotions as they are "released" (ie, when emotions affect the environment around them), then that could be viable. What would happen mechanically is rather than going out into the world or into the crystal, the emotion energy is consumed by your character and thus would dampen effects. Of course, this would only be when your character actually tries to consume some.
  
  
• Food. There are foods and products that can hold emotions within them. One version is taking a literal meaning of "cooking with love"—when cooking, any emotions the cook has carries into the food to add flavor and can help influence the consumer. The other product is a new thing that was just recently made possible. There are currently special petals that fall from a tree that was recently introduced, and these petals reflect memories of anyone who is close enough to them. These petals also hold emotions within them, and if the petals are crushed, a type of jam can be created that both holds and influences certain types of emotions. For example, petals of happy memories will make "happy jam," sad memories will create "sad jam." Things like that.
