Kevin's fallen firmly in love twice over -- one ended in heartbreak but friendship, the other in a Proper Relationship thanks to a Flower Festival confession. He's grown closer to his comrades and made the conscious choice to call on them when he's in need, which goes against his natural tendencies. A threat from his own world showed up, driving Kevin to be brave and confess his evil past to the people he treasures most so that it couldn't be used against him, and was surprised to receive continued love and acceptance from all of them. He began to learn dunamis and found that his brightest lights are powered by hope, and now he understands himself a little better. A talk with Peromei had him realizing that simply not despairing is not enough, and if he's going to protect her as one of her aligned, he needs to go all the way and give her hope, even if he still feels he shouldn't be allowed to have wishes. He backslid some when Hibiki was kidnapped and he found himself in another situation where a sad, scared, lonely little girl was relying on him, only to be overjoyed when it turned out his best really was enough, and he can help her to heal.
These are only the highlights. Overall, extremely positive, because although Kevin still has plenty of negative thoughts and feelings he's actively trying to turn his back on his past and move on from it. The world is growing increasingly uncontrollable in many ways, but Kevin is reaching out for ways to help himself grow stronger along with it. There are a lot of people who have become precious to him and he feels accepted and tentatively secure, and he doesn't want to be a disappointment to any of them.
