For a while he shut out his emotions entirely, and recovering involved being aggressively positive and nothing else, because being positive was safe and the idea of being that angry again scared the piss out of him. It also came with an alignment switch; it wasn't intentional, rather once Silver lost all of his chill and swore off anger, the next emotion he felt the most was appreciation, and really, he can't say he minds. He appreciates Aiada quite a lot.
Blocking out his feelings was fine for a while up until the Night of Selenium where he had some sense knocked into him; since then, instead of shutting his feelings out and fearing them getting out of control, he's been trying to accept them and maintain balance and control over his emotions. Right now he's pretty content with appreciating and caring for the people he has, doing his best to improve himself- both emotionally through being a more well adjusted person and trying to understand his emotions better and physically via training and dunamis- and even starting to place more value on himself as a person.
