Romantic and platonic love both helps plenty to keep him grinning and sparkling. He's also more open about himself, even though it takes him a bit of time to start telling the truth (sometimes triggered by external situations like his baby brother accidentally remembering their first meeting, or lamps falling on him in front of the wife, or Hak glaring a lot. But it still counts, sort of!) He might share some of his past with strangers or new friends if he feels it can help them cope with their issues. He is repressing a lot of fear and sorrow for the moment he gets separated from Kaya and Shu-Ten, as he knows that unlike Yona and Hak and Kija, he likely won't see them again.
