He lost his bff when Lance returned home, Keith came back from a canon update believing he was dead, and their relationship was rocky for a bit until they finally talked things out. Hunk confessed his deeper feelings for Keith though and the two have had a chance to go on cute dates, and really grow in their relationship together.
After some nice holiday fun times, things went a bit south with Hibiki's death and his own canon update return messing with his memories, and the big baddies from his home world showing up, but after the flower festival things are looking to be on the up and up again!
