Summary: Blake spent most of V5 in her hometown of Menagerie, wrestling with nefarious plots against her family and the political apathy of her people. She struggled to figure out how the Faunus could aid the defense of Haven (the next target of Remnant's evil conspiracy) and how to keep her family safe from an increasingly militant and dangerous White Fang led by her former partner, Adam Taurus. With the aid of Sun, she avoided being kidnapped by her former friend Ilia, now a bitter and violent Fang agent, and helped her parents fend off a White Fang attack on their family household. She and Ilia dueled. It was homoerotic. The fight ended with her dad saving Ilia's life, and the two of them resolving their differences. Turned out Ilia was super in love with Blake.
Gripped by the drama of the moment, Blake delivered a moving speech to the Faunus of Menagerie, finally convincing them to give a shit about random distant human lives. She gathered up an army -- including Ilia, who did a nice heel-face turn -- and brought them to Haven via unexplained means, where they were just in time to foil Adam's megalomaniac power trip. Also, the team is back together now! There's still a lot for them to resolve emotionally, but they're back together.
Updated Personality: Blake has become somewhat more emotionally mature! She's had some time to think on the wisdom of being able to accept help from friends instead of always trying to go it alone -- shown in how she asks Sun for assistance when she needs it. She's also grown some in her recovery from what was an unhealthy and abusive relationship with Adam. At the end of V5, she does a really good job of not allowing him to emotionally provoke her, responding with neither anger or fear, but the mere acknowledgement that she has better things to do than waste energy on this guy. She's also had plenty of time to reflect on her relationship with her teammates, and how much she misses and loves them -- though she's been working on this in Empatheias too, so there's some continuity there.
Updated Abilities: Same old, same old.
Other: Can I backdate this to have her have been gone the last couple days - 18th-20th? It's cool if not! sorry for being a slow turtle
