By getting to know people and figuring out some semblance of a routine, he's managed to carve out a comfortable niche not too unlike life back home before everything went to hell, which has done wonders for his inherent but badly neglected optimistic streak. He has yet to admit that, let alone come to terms with how his default cynical worldview might not have helped him along the way, but... maybe next crystal? Questions: Nope!
