Asking more out of idle curiosity than any solid plan to do something with this information and I forget if this particular sort of edge case came up when regains were first suggested, but does "in current ownership" also imply "in current possession"?
Like, say, theoretically, I was playing a character who was exploring a distant moon when he was kidnapped by aliens, and consequently any possessions he would've had with him but not on him were presumably just kind of. Left there. On the moon. Unclaimed by anyone else since. So, like, they're still technically his, right? He just doesn't actually have them. Would such items be regainable?
(If it makes a difference, if I gave him anything from these circumstances, it'd be something small and sentimental. A digital camera with some pictures/video, probably.)
