[ canon update ]
If you'd like to update your character to a different canon point, fill out the form below and comment to this entry. Please note that characters can only be updated to source material that has been out for at least one month. We will try and process canon updates within 48 hours.
ICly, When your character is on a canon update, they completely disappear from the world. It's almost as if they were removed the game, however there's a key difference. Their amulet will remain and be in a translucent state. Characters will be gone from the game from three days to a week. They will reappear wherever their amulet is and can continue their progress from wherever they left off. They will also retain all of their memories.

Character: Emizel
Current Canon Point: The very beginning of postgame (after epilogue)
Updated Canon Point: All of postgame + Fuka Mode + Netherbattle Tournament
Updated Background:
Postgame TL;DR: Destroying Fear the Great created a hole in the universe that for whatever the reason, reacted to the anyone's desires and made it a reality. Even though Asagi was the one closest proximity to it, it was actually others that had an effect on the Netherworld. Axel became popular, Flonne spread love and peace, Etna had the nicest body, etc. Each time it changed it also had a stronger effect on the world, and the previous effect was forgotten about almost immediately; essentially like a mind control.
Fuka/Desco Show TL;DR: Emizel stops Fuka's attempt to raid the vault in the Netherworld Mint, even if he did loose against them. He does not play a big part in the episodes, but he was the one that did Fuka that her memories would be gone if she reincarnates. He primarily just acted as the exposition for how Death do their job in that world, even being the one that sent souls to the Red Moon at the beginning of it. It's implied some that Emizel will eventually (whenever that be, judging how the scenario ends) be the one that sends Fuka's soul too.
Netherbattle Tournament, as the name would imply, was basically a tournament arc created by King Krichevskoy. Emizel did not get very far in it (presuming from the fact he fought fairly early on), but he did meet more demons from other Netherworlds, like Laharl and Mao.
Only other minor side story is the Flashback Episode where Emizel got to hear how Fenrich and Valvatorez met. Maybe note worthy? But nothing that changes Emizel's character. Really he would be the same with or without it.
Updated Personality: Emizel is more confident in himself by now, and less worried about what others think and fairly mellow about it (though can be easily rallied if called a child, or anything similar). Far less concerned about not instilling the demon image and more chill to be how he wants to be. Otherwise he's still roughly the same.
Updated Abilities: No new abilities. Although Emizel is more than likely even stronger than he was already. And more efficent in other weapons (namely bows as that was his secondary weapon in battles such as the tournament, and obviously his scythe).
Other: I'm okay with him disappearing as soon as the approval. Malenzio is going to be staying at the wyvern shelter/refuge/sanctuary until he returns.
