[ canon update ]
If you'd like to update your character to a different canon point, fill out the form below and comment to this entry. Please note that characters can only be updated to source material that has been out for at least one month. We will try and process canon updates within 48 hours.
ICly, When your character is on a canon update, they completely disappear from the world. It's almost as if they were removed the game, however there's a key difference. Their amulet will remain and be in a translucent state. Characters will be gone from the game from three days to a week. They will reappear wherever their amulet is and can continue their progress from wherever they left off. They will also retain all of their memories.
If you have any questions, contact one of the mods or ask them on the form.

Character: Ritsuka Fujimaru
Current Canon Point: post-Camelot
Updated Canon Point: post-Solomon
Updated Background: Well let's see, there'll be the whole Chaldea Summer Memory/Heat Odyssey, Prisma Codes, Return of Nerofest, Super Ghouls'n Goblins, and The Little Santa Alter for events. Then for story, Babylonia and the big arc finale of Solomon. In other words, a lot of silly shenanigans, topped off with facing off against not one but two of the Beasts that represent the Evils of Humanity practically back to back, with a lot of bravery and sacrifice for all involved along the way. But hey, at least the world was saved in the end, right?
Updated Personality: Very little will change, actually. In-game development has already brushed on some of the things Ritsuka's confronted with during this update. The biggest difference is that she won't be quite as anxious about getting back to Chaldea; she'll also initially be a bit more melancholy as she's just experienced a major loss, though she'll absolutely be trying to move on/keep her feelings to herself.
Updated Abilities: None whatsoever!
Other: She's technically now been officially recognized by the Mage's Association as a Fes rank mage but that basically means squat since she can't use magecraft anyway. ALSO both to make sure that we're safely past the one month rule and because I'm terrible, the canon update will ICly happen immediately following Selenium, so the first through the third or so. Apologies in advance for any Servants left behind and freaking out during this time. :|b
Questions: Will it be possible to ICly find leftover candles from Selenium in the days/week following it? Because Ritsuka's totally going to look and see if she can still get one once she's over her initial disorientation.

Starting with the events!
Summer: there was the whole stuck on a tropical island for... who knows how long subjectively, weeks? And included building a place to stay, hunting for food, and chasing demon boars off the island. Then sailing to a new island that was deserted ruins, but turned out to be the same island centuries later, again purging it of the demon boars and their leader (and befriending the intelligent piglet boars that lived there) before finally reestablishing contact with Chaldea. ... and discovering that only an hour had passed there.
Prisma: mini-singularity full of magical girls, wherein Ritsuka and Mash had to defeat the magical girl who started the whole thing to rescue another.
Nerofest: fighting tournament! No really that's all it was.
Ghouls: so after last year's Halloween Liz is preparing to put on another concert, only to get kicked out of her castle (which... turns out to have a pyramid crashed into it now...) and Ritsuka has to help her fight her way back and learn the True Meaning of Halloween. Halloween is saved but that pyramid is still there.
Santa: Jeanne Alter concocts a ridiculous plan to sabotage Santa Alter's Christmas plans, and ends up accidentally deaging herself instead. Rather than allow the new young Servant to just disappear, Ritsuka coordinates a plan (with the help of several other Servants) to take Santa Lily on a journey to self-realize and become a proper Santa servant.
And the story chapters!
Babylon: ... basically the singularity is beset by monsters and goddesses trying to eliminate humanity, with Gilgamesh coordinating humanity's last stand against them. Ritsuka and co travel hither and thither at Gil's orders to help, investigate, and fight various things, slowly unraveling the details of the Three Goddess Alliance, befriending and/or defeating the goddesses one by one. Except then the real threat in the form of a Beast awakens, leading to a desperate final struggle to kill something that cannot by nature know death. It was basically like her experience in previous singularities, but taken up to eleven, and with a dash of reality check about how many people have died in the process and the importance of saving those few who were saved.
Solomon: no sooner had Babylon been settled than Chaldea pinpoints the location of "Solomon", the mastermind behind everything. So with only minimal time to recover, it's back into the fray, to a place outside of normal time and space. This was basically one big nonstop battle sequence, first against the demon pillars (with the surprise chain summoning of all the servants Ritsuka had met and bonded with throughout her journeys showing up to help) followed by fighting the mastermind himself... who turned out to be another Beast, at that. And basically unbeatable, until a certain person's sacrifice stripped him of his immortality. Then, finally, he was defeated, the singularity immediately started to collapse, but everyone (who survived at least) managed to make it back to Chaldea. Cue touching epilogue scene of Ritsuka and Mash looking at the rare clear sky outside of the facility in the wake of their victory.

In regards to your question, Ritsuka is free to find a few of the candles used during Selenium after she returns.
