Welcome to the NPC mailbox. Characters are free to send letters to the various NPCs currently in charge of the city. All replies will also be written and sent via messenger bird. Replies may take a while as they are busy officials.

Requests to meet NPCs in person are doable, but there is no guarantee it will happen—at least immediately. Efforts will be made when possible.

Since inquiries are sent via letter, you can write them as long or as short as you wish.

[Sigrun lets out the breath she'd been holding, smile returning.] Glad to hear that chances are high that no one'll get hurt by them! And I hope you get to go back to your city, too. Being far from home really sucks when there's nothing really the same. [She's got experience twice now. Too open skies, too crowded a place. That's all this is.] ... So uh, what's the chance of you not being let back? And what if they don't let you. I mean, I think that pink beast of yours is pretty nice, so I don't think you're in any danger of it or anything, but what's your back up plan?

The council considers me an owlion's nest in the corner. [ It's said a little wryly. ] I feel as if they're always looking for a reason to get rid of or silence me. Though, it isn't as if I haven't earned that.

[ A small laugh. ]

I like to push their limits and boundaries, is all. Still, I don't think they'll force me to stay here. [ Sophia curls a curl around her finger. ] If they do, then I will simply ask as many of my troupe that wishes to join me up here to do so, and we will make our living here as we do down there: singing songs and putting on plays, exploring the rich history of Theasthai and her imagination.

[ And adventuring. ]

[A little teasing, because all players are well-traveled in her world anyway. It's not too odd to think that Sophia and her troupe's the same.]

What kind of stories do you have yourself? That isn't about your city and her history.

Oh, the usual. Fables, legends, aesops. [ Like any city. ] Plays about love, about loss, about the world... Those last ones are far and few in-between, but they do exist.

Mostly about how people imagine the world used to be, and how it could be in the future.

I'm interested in hearing a few sometime, then. We've got things like that too. But mostly ones that're about our own accomplishments or our ancestors'! And about the gods!
