Welcome to the NPC mailbox. Characters are free to send letters to the various NPCs currently in charge of the city. All replies will also be written and sent via messenger bird. Replies may take a while as they are busy officials.

Requests to meet NPCs in person are doable, but there is no guarantee it will happen—at least immediately. Efforts will be made when possible.

Since inquiries are sent via letter, you can write them as long or as short as you wish.

Thank you for the gift! It is very cute, and it is good company.

I think I would like to get to know her. [ There's a stain of ink here, indicating he paused for a while; it's a habit of his. ] And for your other question, not really. I didn't really get to know anyone well-enough to miss them, and Dai's usually here, so there's no reason to miss here.

I will implore the council to allow her back though. Four months above is more than enough time for her to learn there is nothing to fear or dislike about all of you.

Dear Sigrun Eide,

I like ice cream, but I think spending time with her would be a mistake. I do want to, but I don't know where I would even begin with conversation.

My favorite story is the one of the turteel and the merhare. It teaches the importance of waiting to strike, and then striking when the opportunity arises. I feel bad for the merhare, but all life ends one way or another. His ended in someone's belly.

LITTLE LAMB

THAT'S OKAY, I GET IT, BUT YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY TRY SOMETIME! TALK ABOUT HER PLAYS AND STUFF, SHE SEEMS TO LIKE TELLING TALL TALES.

THAT ONE SOUNDS REALLY GOOD THOUGH! IS A MERHARE A RABBIT THAT LIVES UNDERWATER? AND WHAT'S A TURTEEL?

MY FAVORITE IS THE ONE ABOUT FENRIR AND TYR. IT'S A LITTLE LENGTHY TO WRITE ABOUT AND I'M BETTER AT TELLING IT THAN WRITING IT, BUT IT'S BASICALLY ABOUT HOW LOKI (A GOD) HAD THREE KIDS AND ONE OF THEM WAS A WOLF THAT ODIN (THE ALLFATHER, BIG HEAD HONCHO OF THE GODS) FORESAW KILLING HIM IN THE FUTURE, SO HE AND THE OTHERS SOUGHT TO TAME FENRIR AND RAISE HIM WHEN HE WAS YOUNG TO PREVENT THAT. EXCEPT EVERYONE WAS TOO SCARED TO EVEN COME NEAR HIM! EXCEPT TYR, WHO IS AWESOME AND BRAVE AND COOL.

ANYWAY, HE RAISES THE PUP AND FENRIR ENDS UP GETTING TOO BIG TO KEEP IN THE PLACE HE WAS, SO THEY ENDED UP PUTTING HIM SOMEPLACE ELSE AND TRIED TO RESTRAIN HIM WITH DIFFERENT CHAINS. NOTHING WORKED UNTIL THEY ASKED THE DWARFS TO MAKE ONE AND THEY TRICKED FENRIR INTO WEARING IT BY HAVING TYR BE THE ONE TO PUT IT ON HIM. TYR LOST HIS ARM WHEN FENRIR REALIZED WHAT HAPPENED BECAUSE HE BIT IT OFF AND THERE HE WAITS FOR THE END OF DAYS TO KILL ODIN!

IT'S NOT THE BEST MORAL STORY, I GUESS, BUT IT'S A LESSON IN TREATING ANIMALS FAIRLY IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED FAIRLY IN KIND A GUESS. THINGS ARE ONLY SET IN STONE IF YOU TREAT THEM LIKE THEY ARE! I THINK IF THEY WEREN'T ALL SO SCARED OF WHAT FENRIR COULD'VE BEEN HE WOULD'VE BEEN A GREAT ALLY!
